Assisted Living Coordinator (Beaumont, AB)

We are currently inviting applications for a:
Assisted Living Coordinator
who will lead our team at Place Beausejour
5020 52 Avenue, Beaumont, AB

A few years ago a group of citizens in Beaumont, Alberta had a dream. They wanted to ensure that seniors and mature adults were able to stay in our community as they aged. They wanted to build a complex that supported independent living, but also could provide added services as people needed them. We are almost there with the opening of our new Assisted Living and Supportive Housing phase.

However, we need you to help us put the finishing touches on that dream. We want our clients to continue to achieve “Well-being from the inside out”. This means they achieve wholeness and growth while living in a community that offers protection and nourishment. We cannot do this without the gifts you, as a staff member, bring.

We are searching for a compassionate and adaptable individual to embrace a leadership position and to:

-foster an environment that is resident-centered with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, quality of life and continual improvement
-manage the administrative functions and day-to-day operations of the facility
-support quality improvement and best practice initiatives
-effectively plan, organize, implement, and evaluate service in accordance with Regional Health Authority service agreement, government regulations, accreditation standards, public health practices, and other legislated requirements

You are a health care professional with post-secondary education and experience in geriatric care (e.g. nursing, recreation, licensed practical nurse, social work etc.). In addition, you have working knowledge of community health services and computer proficiency. Supervisory experience is an asset.
