Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of university
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensure
as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, Licensure as a
Registered Psychiatric Nurse by the province of work, CPR certification
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Home care and visiting care agency
Specific Skills: Assess
patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions, Dispense and
administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician,
Monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in
patients' conditions, Provide health education, Provide nursing care

Other Information:The LPN will primarily will be staffed for LTC homes but may be required to do occasional nursing home visits.
