Seeking: Nurse Manager (RN)

Salary : $55,000 Based on Experience

We are in search of a Registered Nurse that would be able to work day shift at our nursing health center. Candidate must have the following qualifications:

•Completion of university
•Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
•Experience is an asset
•Speak English, Read English, Write English
•Home for the aged
•Geriatrics

Specific Skills: Supervise registered nurses, nursing assistants and other nursing personnel, Co-ordinate nursing services in conjunction with other health services. Ensure that quality nursing care is provided and that appropriate administrative procedures are followed; Assist in the establishment of unit policies and procedures

Additional Skills:
•Administer unit budget,
•Ensure availability of supplies and equipment,
•Assist in the selection,
•Evaluation and professional development of personnel
•Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Immunization records, Tuberculosis test
•Work Conditions and Physical
•Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Ability to distinguish between colors
•Ability to Supervise: More than 20 people
