Title: Registered Nurse (or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shift

Salary: $22.90 to $29.00 Hourly for 32 hours per week, Other Benefits, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Puslinch, Ontario (4 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, CPR certification

Experience: Experience an asset

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Work Setting: Nursing or convalescent home

Area of Specialization: Geriatrics

Specific Skills: Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions, Collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care, Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, Monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions, Provide health education, Provide nursing care, Deliver immunization programs, Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff

Essential Skills: Writing, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning
